STEP 1: SEND US YOUR PLAN

 Your Plans

• Select a project from your list of jobs or bid invites
• Upload plans to our email address info@charterestimating.com or 
• If your plans are over 25 meg please just send to our email and a Google Drive Link will be created and sent over to us.
• Or Simply forward/email us the General Contractors bid invite
• We take care of getting the plans for you
• Or We can provide you with a list of available jobs from your area

STEP 2: CHOOSE THE TYPE OF ESTIMATING SERVICES NEEDED

Material & Labor Take-Off

• We provide you with fixture and gear counts
• Next, labor hours for each item are calculated
• Material pricing on each item is finalized 
• We provide a professional bid proposal with inclusions sheet (optional)
• Finally, you finish the bid and submit it to GC

Complete Estimating Services

• Charter provides you with a complete estimate
• First we contact all the GC's bidding the project
• Second we call and build relationships with GC's representing your company
• Third we submit material counts for quoted items to your vendors
• Fourth we review and closeout the complete bid with your company
• Fifth we submit your estimate to bidding GC's and negotiate the win for your company
• Sixth we call for Bid results and track estimate progress

STEP 3: WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A FREE QUOTE

We Quote you the hours

• First, we quote you the amount of hours to complete the estimate
• based on the project and services you selected

You Approve the Quote

• Next, after reviewing and approving the hours quoted to complete the estimate
• We go over the terms of the services you selected and answer any questions
• We start the estimating process.

What you can expect from us is everything you will need to bid a project.

• A complete package for supplier quoted items
• We generate detailed RFI's for your use in case of any issues that may arise.
• Provide a list of items needed when there is a need for site visits.
• A detailed, comprehensive, competitive estimate that is easy to read and understand.
• We also provide a professional bid proposal with inclusions & exclusions 

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Provide the project documents (plans) by mail, email, CD, or online availability.
• Provide your labor rates, overhead & profit percentages (%) or we can calculate those for you
• Forward addenda, alternates, and relevant upstream data.
• Forward RFI responses.
• Forward selected "Quoted Material" prices from your suppliers.
• Go to our online store and pick up your completed bid
• Submit competed bid to General Contractors .

Our Responsibilities Include:

• Generate RFI's and forward them to you.
• Provide a computer printout of material and labor by category.
• Provide "Quoted Materials" lists for you to forward to your suppliers
• Provide you with a bid winning estimate that is easy to make necessary changes yourself and easy to read and understand 
• Provide 24/7 support. We will always be available for you or your estimator when the time is critical and it's bid day. 
• Provide a schedule of values.
• Provide suggested inclusions and exclusions of scope of work.
• Recommend appropriate value engineering to increase your award rate, and simultaneously increase your profit
• If you choose for us to submit your bid we will contact bidding GC's and submit the completed bid proposal to GC's using your company information.
